Der `direction` Parameter bestimmt, wie die Verbindungen des Graphen interpretiert werden. Bei `UNDIRECTED` (Standard) wird jede Verbindung {i,j} als bidirektional betrachtet. Bei `DIRECTED` wird eine Verbindung (i,j) als gerichteter Pfeil von i nach j interpretiert. Die Berechnung der Knotengrade und somit der Kernnummern hängt von dieser Einstellung ab.
