The release of SAS Viya™ made us reflect on the site's identity and its modernism. This site was just a blog before, but we decided to give it a name that reflects the renewal and future of SAS. What better way than to name the site after the core technology: CAS.
What is SAS CAS?
SAS CAS (Cloud Analytic Services) is the modern, scalable in-memory analytics engine from SAS, developed specifically for big data and cloud environments. CAS enables fast, parallel data processing and analysis at large scale and is a central component of the SAS Viya platform. It supports companies in performing complex data analysis efficiently and making data-driven decisions.
